Setup Guide:

Do everything in Korean locale, you can get away with using Locale Emulator or pAppLocale but you'll want to run everything as admin too.

Install:

1. Open mycanmusic.rar from the first download.
2. Run and install with Korean locale [KOR][MyCanMusic][Install][First].exe
3. Run FIX_ERROR.bat as Administrator, make sure there is a 'HanseulSoft' shortcut in Program Files.
4. Run and install with Korean locale [KOR][MyCanMusic][Install][Second]fixing1-8133.exe.
5. Overwrite C:\Program Files (x86)\HanseulSoft\MyCanMusic with the contents of the "Update 8134-8542" folder.
6. Extract contents of english version to C:\Program Files (x86)\HanseulSoft\MyCanMusic.
7. Run CanMusic.exe in Korean locale as administrator.
8. Enjoy!
   

 

Getting Started:

Simply click login without any details!

To see songs you can begin by clicking one of the level numbers under the Add/Clear buttons.

Add a song and press space to select it, then you can use left/right arrow keys to change to modes like mirror or random, hit space again to begin!

If you have multiple songs you can use up/down arrow keys or click them when you don't have a song selected.

To change speed or volume, start a song and use the up/down and left/right arrow keys, respectively.

 

Garige.exe:

You can resize it to any size you want and double-click to lock/unlock it, and drag it anywhere you want. You can also right-click it to change its color. 

You might want to get into the habit of using it because the speed increments in CanMusic can get crazy and hard to tune.

If you want completely white notes then set lane saturation to -100 (this affects notes too)

Only tested on METALiC skin, LNs are unchanged.

 

Unobfuscated skin.ini:

Extract and overwrite into HanseulSoft directory. You'll probably have to do this for both Program Files/(x86) and use the included exe.

This allows you to move some stuff around, such as combo position, and you can also disable lasers within.

Edit the skin.ini here: C:\Program Files\HanseulSoft\CanMusic\image\skin\*\skin.ini

By the way you can edit *\HanseulSoft\CanMusic\CanMusic.dat with a text editor.

4. Can't run in Windows 8/10

-> Right click CanMusic.exe - Troubleshoot compatibility -> Troubleshoot program problems -> Check boxes 1, 2

-> Check Windows XP (Service Pack 3) - Check 65536 color or 16bit -> Program test -> Save current settings

6. 로드 오류 실패 ! error message

-> Download directx.cpl

-> uncheck Allow Hardware Acceleration in Direct3D tab

-> uncheck Use Hardware Acceleration in DirectDraw tab -> save and run CanMusic.exe

If you succeed in running, re-check Allow Hardware Acceleration in Direct3D tab, Use Hardware Acceleration in DirectDraw tab.

 

7. Black screen

Windows 7:

Make sure your display is running in 16bit color mode.

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution -> Advanced settings -> Monitor tab.

Windows 10:

Right click CanMusic.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> reduced color mode 16bits

 

8. Can't change key settings

-> Sometimes numbers appear and you can't change settings

open CanMusic.ini in C:\Windows and change Do,Re,Mi,Fa,Sol,Ra,Si numbers -> to ASCII
